Ketty Almena, age 98, passed away peacefully in Peoria, AZ on March 23, 2013. Ketty was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico on September 23, 1914. She had made her home in the Valley of the Sun for the last seven years. Ketty is survived by her daughters Ileana A White (John) and Yvonne a Lopez (Federico); grandchildren John W. White, Jr., Yvonne Vanessa Richards, Michelle Fernandez and Natasha Lopez; great grandchildren Jonathan D. Fernandez, Alexander D. Fernandez, Bryan Paz-White, Autumn A. Richards and Sebastian D. Fernandez. Ketty was predeceased by her former husband Julio Almena. A Celebration of Life service will be held Friday, April 5, 2013 at 7:00PM at Advantage Golden Door Chapel, 11211 W.
