Linda Nell Hammers Johnson

Linda was born October 27, 1954 in Aracta, California to William “Joe” and Ava Hammers.

She grew up in California and graduated from West Coast Bible School Class of 1972. After High School Linda attended Jefferson Community College in Louisville, Kentucky where she majored in Nursing and worked towards her Associate RN Degree while maintaining a 3.5 GPA. After College she spent some time in Kentucky, Missouri and Las Vegas before settling in Arizona.

Some would say she was a true “Fashionista”, who loved fashion and decorating. She loved being home and spending time with her family, especially her mother and her sister, who she considered her “Best Friends”.

Linda is survived by her loving mother Ava Faust, sister Susan “Sue” (Steve) Kinworthy, uncle Justin (Cynthia) Murry, nephew David Kinworthy, niece Christina Thomson, 9 great nieces and nephews who love their “Aunt Linny” and a host of friends. She will be missed forever and loved always.

A Celebration of Life for Linda will be held Saturday, April 10, 2021, 11:00am at Sun City Church of the Nazarene 14636 N. Del Webb Blvd., Sun City, AZ 85351. She will be laid to rest at Sunland Memorial Park and Cemetery in Sun City, AZ.
