Louis C Warner

Born February 15, 1933 in Pulaski, IL, to Henry Warner and Ozetta (Roberts) Warner. He departed this life on July 27, 2026 in Sun City, AZ. His family moved to Seattle, WA where at the age of 16 he played in a band with Quincy Jones and met many musicians through that connection. He was with the Air Force during the Korean War and was on his way to Korea when his orders changed and he was shipped to Japan. He was honorably discharged from the Air Force and National Guard. Lou worked at City of Seattle Engineering, Model Cities, then his own firm Louis C. Warner & Company, Professional Engineers. The company was responsible for the swimming pool at Garfield High School and the Martin Luther King Memorial Park on Empire Way, now called Martin Luther King Way, among numerous others. He also worked around the country - Texas, Chicago, Alaska, California, Oregon, Arizona, etc - designing and supervising buildings, highways, etc. The company headquarters moved to Phoenix, AZ in 1988 where Lou met his fiancée JoAnn, and they have been together for 38 years until his death. Preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, he is also survived by his daughter Linda Bishop (Dennis), his son Glen D. Warner, a sister Magnolia, and a brother Preston.

Lou was fondly known as Loucee by his close friends. He helped many people along the way of his life, enjoyed the boats he captained along with the parties thereon, loved music immensely, enjoyed playing card games, watching movies of all types especially action and war, and really loved his neighborhood in Sun City. He had a wonderful sense of humor, teased all the ladies, and never looked his age! He will be greatly missed by all who came across him. Lou is now with God, his and Jo's families, and his adored cat Keisha. And he is enjoying his soft-serve vanilla ice cream!
