Upon his return he married his first wife, and had three daughters.
in the mid 60’s Martin began his career with Sears Roebuck & Company, at the iconic Sears Building in Boyle Heights, working in the distribution center. In Delano he served as a City Council member, and enjoyed working with the community.
Following his daughters, Martin relocated himself to the Phoenix area in 2003. He enjoyed the outdoors, camping, hiking, cycling and gardening. A devout Catholic, he continued to share his passion for music singing in several church choirs including St. Teresa and St. Elizabeth.
