Michael Angel Duenas, 88, died Sunday, April 3, 2016 in his home in Litchfield Park. He leaves his wife, Maria, her 3 sisters, her brother, her nieces and nephews; his daughter, Michelle, and her husband, Phil; his stepdaughter, Annette, and her husband, Brandon; his grandchildren Doug, Charlie, Catherine, Katia, and Sebastian; and his dog, Mocha. Born and raised in Cusco, Peru, the son of Jose Rafael Duenas and Celia Santos, he had 11 brothers and sisters. He immigrated to the United States in the late 1950s and lived for most of his life in the Chicago area. He later retired to Arizona after a long career as a personnel and accounting manager for hotels and corporations and as a school bus driver for a public high school. Michael had a passion for the color red, hiking, the Chicago White Sox, animals, and the outdoors. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. His memorial service will be at the Advantage Golden Door Chapel on Friday, April 8, 11211 W. Michigan Ave., Youngtown, AZ from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
