Pauline L. Browning

Pauline L. Browning (age 95) passed away peacefully in her sleep in Glendale, Arizona on January 12, 2023. Born in her home in Detroit, Michigan, Pauline was predeceased by her Husband George (of 64 years) and her parents Ronald and Ruth Slater. She graduated from St. Philip Neri School in Detroit, and married the love of her life George Browning in that Church on October 18, 1947. Although Michigan was always her home in her heart, she and George made a new life in Glendale following retirement. Pauline truly loved her life and was joyful, prayerful, family orientated and fun to be with. Pauline leaves behind her Sister Mabel Naomi, her children and their spouses Barbara (Dennis Bechard), Robert (Marcia Sue Moore), Richard (Kelly Mehok), Beth (James Turza). Her beloved Grandchildren Brian, Kevin, Jessica, Jeremy, Teresa, Matthew, Richard, Rebecca, Thomas, Jennifer and Madeline. She also leaves behind 17 beloved great grandchildren. The family will have a memorial at Hope Church 26525 N 19th Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85085 and in her home state at St Mary Magdalen Catholic Church 19624 Wood St., Melvindale, MI 48122. She will be interred at Holy Cross Cemetery in Arizona. In Lieu of flowers, please make a charitable donation in her name.
