Born in New Jersey to John and Veronica Ferrara, he was the youngest of six children.
Scott was a passionate fan of the New York Mets, Jets, and the Knicks throughout his life. He resided in Phoenix for almost 30 years, where he raised two daughters. His greatest joy was being a father and, eventually, a doting grandfather. Scott will be remembered for his infectious sense of humor and his easy-going nature.
He is survived by his daughters, Ashley Ferrara and Lindsay Keppler (Ferrara), sons-in-law Michael Keppler and Kevin Tavares, and his grandson, Zachary Keppler. He also leaves behind his sister, Barbara Cosenzo (Ferrara); his brothers-in-law, Carmine Cosenzo and James Gash; and eleven nieces and nephews.
Scott was preceded in death by his parents, John and Veronica; his brothers, John and Joseph Ferrara; his sisters, Patricia Gash (Ferrara) and Elizabeth Cosentino (Ferrara); his brother-in-law, Steven Cosentino; and his nephew, Bruce Gash.
