Sheree Christine Foldesh, 69 years young, of Sun City West, AZ, passed away on July 31, 2026. Sheree survived a double lung transplant and heart bypass on May 27, 2025, thanks to the prayers of all of her many prayer warriors, family, and friends. During her time here on earth after her surgery, she touched and uplifted many hospital, health care workers and patients who came in contact with her.
Sheree walked with the Lord every day. Her faith and witness shone through in her words and interactions with others. This was never more evident than in her marriage to David, the love of her life. They met on a blind date and were married 15 months later on April 15, 2005, at Glendale Historical Park. Through their years of living in Phoenix and in Rolla, Missouri, of lovely caring for 7 dogs and 5 cats, of being active members of several churches (food pantries, Bible studies), and of surviving the complications of pulmonary fibrosis, their love for God and each other grew and was generously given away.
Sheree had several hobbies she enjoyed. After the death of her first husband Rick Bern, she wrote and published her book “A Journey through Grief, An Insight to Understanding Grief”. Her love of dogs lead to researching natural dog treats and starting Willow Tree Dog Bakery, LLC, which sold homemade dog treats for several years. She wrote poetry for: getting through life and her love for God, her songs, her grief group Friendship Garden, her book, and the American Poetry Association.
During her working career, Sheree worked at Burlington Northern Railroad, the Arizona Supreme Court, United Healthcare, and within the Rolla court system.
Born in Ottumwa, Iowa on September 8, 1956, she graduated from Ottumwa High School and attended Indian Hills Community College. Sheree graduated from Truman State University in Kirksville MO with a Bachelor’s Degree.
Among all her friendships she maintained throughout her life, Sheree leaned on and kept closest to her heart Emily Masterson (Todd), Lisa David (Andre) and Mary Jo Lewis.
In addition to her beloved David, she is survived by her sister, Sandra Bradley, brother-in-law Bobby, and nephews Anthony and Joshua, who all live in Fort Worth. She was close to her aunt Tina Bostwick and cousins Mary and Howie who live in New York.
Sheree had a loving relationship with her brothers-in-law, Bob Foldesh (Carol Ann) and Bill Foldesh, and sister-in-law, Wendy McCullough (Dale) and her nieces and nephews. She also loved and was close to her cousins by marriage Barbara Samples, Pam Fagelson, Debbie Gugel, Lisa Slatt (Alan), Karen Goree (Allen), David Fuller (Deidra), Elaine Gajewski, and Michael Fuller (Ellin).
