

Shirley Mae Keillor, 86, of Magalia, California passed away Sunday, July 10, 2022, peacefully at the Gardiner Home- Hospice of The Valley in Phoenix, Arizona with her family by her side. Shirley was born July 30th, 1935, to Samuel Rudolph Hyde and Jennie Mae Irene Hyde (Ballard) in Chico, California.
She was married to Robert E. Keillor Sr. and had six children. Over the years, she resided in Chico and Magalia California. She recently moved to El Mirage, Arizona to be with her daughter and family. Shirley worked hard alongside her husband, raising their six children. She loved the outdoors, wildlife, fishing, and camping with her family. Shirley’s favorite place to camp was Cherry Hill in Butte Meadows, California. She would always have their travel trailer packed and ready for their weekend camping trips during the summers.
The caregiver within guided her to become a (LVN) Nurse. She worked taking care of children with special needs at the Elgin Home in Paradise, California, and later caring for adults at the Sunshine Home in Paradise, California.
She dearly loved and enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great - grandchildren.
She is survived by her children; Richard (Janice) Keillor of Reno, Nevada, Sharon (Mike) Rankin of El Mirage, Arizona, Shirley (Mike) Kleppe of Fort Bragg, California, Robert Keillor Jr. of Montpelier, Idaho, Samuel (Candy) Keillor of Oroville, California, Susan (Ted) Osbourn of Gridley, California; sibling, Sally Patterson (Steve) of Mansfield, Ohio; 15 Grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; sisters, (Sylvia Ballard and Sandra Kern) and brother, Gary Hyde and grandson, Dakota Keillor.
A private celebration of life will be held on a later date.
