Sylvester Earl Ewing, 84, of Peoria, Arizona, passed away June 4th, 2013. He was born to Sylvester Robert Ewing and Rueberta Hazel Stewart on March 20th, 1929 in Wichita, Kansas. He was born a twin, the 7th child of 11 children. He was married t his beautiful wife Faye Jane Simpson of 64 years on July 5th, 1949. He is survived by his wife Faye and 7 children Leo Ewing, Pam and Lnce Arave, Mike and Arie Ewing, Robert (recently passed) and Susie Ewing, Deborah Hansen, Sharon and Dana Normoyle, and Karen and Michael Smith; 23 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. Earl was proud of his military service in the Navy, where he served on the USS Missouri as a signalman during WWII. We will miss his humor, compassion, and his love for the Lord. We learned from his lessons all the way until the end. We love you. Services have been held with interment at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona with full Military Honors.
