Terry Schovon, known to many as "Terry the Barber," "Terry the Dancer," or simply a "super social guy," was born on September 12, 1946, in Detroit, Michigan, and raised in Warren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Doris. Terry passed away on February 4, 2026.
A proud U.S. Navy veteran who served in Vietnam and a member of the American Legion, Terry also spent 60 years pursuing his passion as a barber. While he loved dancing and golfing, his greatest joy came from building friendships everywhere he went. Terry and Joyce moved to Sun City, Arizona, in 2012.
Terry is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Joyce; his daughter, Erica, and her partner, Doug; his granddaughter, London; his adopted son, Scott; and his stepdaughters, Shelley and Gidgette, along with their families. He is also survived by his two sisters, Gail Leas and Rene’ Schovon-Naimy, as well as many nieces, nephews, and a wonderful group of caring friends.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
