Debi Parker, cherished wife, devoted mother, and beloved friend, passed away on July 7, 2026, surrounded by her loving family after valiantly facing a long two-year illness. Born on July 31, 1951, in San Bernardino, Debi was a beacon of warmth and wisdom whose presence enriched the lives of all she encountered. She was the cherished daughter of Robert and Loucille White, who predeceased her, along with her Uncle Felton Fister, cousin Mark Fister, and brothers-in-law Walter and James. Debi leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter, survived by her devoted husband, Steve, with whom she shared a beautiful marriage since February 14, 1998, when they joined hearts to raise their son, Dustin. Debi's family was her pride and joy, and she is deeply missed by Dustin and his wife Jenn, her brother Brad and his wife Pauline, sisters-in-law Maryann and Patricia with her husband Reg, brother-in-law Tom and his wife Tina, her beloved Aunt Betty, cousin Pam, and a host of cherished nephews, nieces, and great-nephews and nieces. For 36 years, Debi dedicated herself to her work as a control cashier at the Department of Motor Vehicles, where her diligence and kindness were felt by colleagues and patrons alike. She retired in 2014, leaving behind a legacy of dedication and friendship. An active member of Soroptimist International, Debi committed her time and energy to empowering women and girls in her community. Her spirit of service was matched only by her zest for life, which found expression in the many road trips she took with her family and friends. Debi had a particular fondness for collecting bears and gnomes, and her garden was a testament to her nurturing nature. Known for her ability to answer any question, Debi's wisdom and wit were legendary. To her, there was no such thing as a dumb question, unless it was asked twice. Even in illness, her concern for her family never wavered, providing them comfort and guidance with her indomitable spirit. A celebration of Debi's life will be held on her birthday, July 31, 2026, at 9:00 AM at the Weaver-Hughes Mortuary, located at 33629 Yucaipa Blvd, Yucaipa, CA, 92399.
