Thank You for sending the Memorial Card for Delores.  Both our families attended the Upland Church of Christ in the 1950's.  We were very close friends and both graduated in the Class of '51 from Chaffy High School.  We attended many outings with the churches youth group.  We lost track of each other over the years.  But in 2002 we did see each other at the Upland Church of Christ during a luncheon.  
I was very sorry to hear  of her passing...

Dear Laura, Leslie, Dan and family,  Dee was like a sister to me. We shared 61 years of history together and had so much fun from the day we met at Pepperdine College in LA. I was stunned and shocked to learn of her death and still say to myself, "This cannot be; she was to vibrant and lit up the day where ever she went!"  Words cannot say how I will miss her. I grieve with all of you for the loss of our friend, mom, wife and grandmother.  I love you Dee; you live on in my heart...May God be with all of us at this sad time.

To the Family of Dee,

I only met your mom a few times but she was a very sweet person and very very classy to say the least!  She was the love of my fathers life I can tell you that.    Please accept my deepest condolence - it is very hard to loose a mom - after all you have know her your entire life and you cannot say that about anyone else in your life.

Laura and Leslie,  I just want to tell you what a wonderful women your mother was.  I did not get to be around her as much as I would have liked due to my work schedule and the distance apart that we lived.  What I did know about her for the past 13 years is that she made my father very happy.  I also believe that she was happy for the last few years of her life. They had a wonderful relationship and my father will miss her greatly.
