Inez Amelia Hansen

Inez Amelia Hansen, 99, of Yucaipa, California passed away September 30, 2014, at Holy Hill Care Center East. Inez was born on a farm near Granite, Iowa, on September 5, 1915 to Thomas and Amelia Bennett.

They moved to Sioux Falls, South Dakota when Inez was in high school. After graduation, Inez worked at Morrell's Packing Plant until 1939 when she went to beauty school. Inez was a beautician until 1949. She always loved children and through the years babysat neighborhood children, taught Sunday School and worked in the nursery at her church.

Inez married Clyde Hansen on September 14, 1946. They moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 1958. They moved to Highland, California in 1959 and later moved to their home in Calimesa. They lived in the Calimesa/Yucaipa area for 52 years.

Inez is survived by her daughters Sharlene and Wayne Doeden of Yucaipa, California and LeAnn and Steve Ryan of Lancaster, California; grandchildren Brian and Tracy Doeden of Yucaipa, California, Tammy Stewart of Yucaipa, California, Mark Ryan of Lancaster, California and Bradley and Jennifer Ryan of Johnstown, Colorado; great grandchildren Cassey (Lynch) Doeden of Yucaipa, California, Kayla (Lynch) Doeden of Maine, Maverick and Cody Stewart of Yucaipa, California, Jadynn and Kyra (Powers) Ryan and Logan and Melyssa Ryan of Johnstown, Colorado.She is also survived by a brother-in-law Ralph and Lois Hansen of Brandon, South Dakota and many nieces and nephews. Inez was preceded in death by her husband Clyde and son Tommy.

Private family services took place October 3, 2014.

Arrangements were entrusted to Weaver Hughes Mortuary, Yucaipa, California.
