

60, passed away on March 20, 2012 in Redlands, California, due to complications of ALS. Jim was born in Redlands on February 8, 1952 to Roger and Velvajean Woodrow. He grew up in Yucaipa and graduated from Yucaipa High School in 1970. He worked various jobs including civil drafting, tile setting, warehouse distribution and the last 12 years for the City of Yucaipa. He was a long-time member of the Yucaipa Elks. He was a loyal friend and had a great love for sports and his family.
Jim was predeceased by his father, Roger H. Woodrow. In addition to his many friends, he leaves his mother, Velvajean Woodrow, his sister Linda Kilday (Larry), his brother, Jerry Woodrow (Sherry), three nieces, Katie Jo and Hannah Woodrow, Heather Chavez (Jeremy), and one nephew, Sean Kilday (Michelle). He was a grand uncle to Isaiah and Delaney Chavez and Jolene Kilday.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 23, 2012 at Faith Lutheran Church, 12449 California Street in Yucaipa, Pastor Tim Drom officiating. Private interment will be at Hillside Memorial Park in Redlands.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations in his memory be sent to the ALS Association Golden West Chapter, P.O. Box 565, Agoura Hills, Ca 91376-0565. Arrangements were entrusted to Weaver Hughes Mortuary, Yucaipa, California.
