

Ken’s family immigrated from Malta to “Corktown” Detroit, Michigan in the 1920s. Second youngest to 8 siblings. Ken’s 4 older brothers served in the US Military and Ken was a US Marine Corps Veteran himself.
He was the beloved husband of Barbara Parenti for 47 wonderful years, sharing a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.
A loving husband, Ken leaves a lasting legacy of hard work, compassion, resilience, and his love of the Dodgers. He was a father to Jeffry (Beth) Diacono and Jennifer (Robert) Lesz. He was also a stepfather to William “Bill” (Ann) Kulikoff, Tina (Dennis) Ramey and Tammy Parenti-Vawter.
He was preceded in death by his beloved sons Kenneth James Diacono (Nancy) 2024, stepson Anthony ”Tony” Domenick Parenti (Catherine) 2022 and Michael Thomas Diacono 1965
His love extended to his 16 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren, who he was very proud of.
Ken was an exceptionally gifted handyman & do it yourselfer. He looked forward to the annual Pismo Thanksgiving gathering with family & friends, bowling league with neighborhood friends, attending grandchildren sporting & school events and the occasional trip to the Casino. He leaves a lasting legacy.
