Juanita Endert was born November 3, 1925, in Whitewater, Missouri the 3rd child of 5 children born to George Elbert Proffer and Ruby Belle Proffer.
After high school Juanita worked in the local Shoe Factory in Jackson Missouri. She married Dayton Andrews in June, 1946 and had three children. In her early adult life, Juanita was a housewife and mom.
In 1958, Juanita and Dayton moved their family from Missouri to California. Juanita was a lifelong member of Pomona 1st Baptist Church, Pomona, CA, recently renamed Purpose Church.
Juanita and Dayton divorced in 1968, and for the next few years she worked outside her home in food service, at Betsy Ross and Heritage House Restaurants.
In June,1971, Juanita married widower Edward Endert who had two children, Dennis and Donna, and a daughter-in-law Marylyn.
After a short illness, Juanita passed away August 23rd, 2019 at her home in Welbrook Arlington in Riverside, CA.
Juanita is survived by children Charlotte Straight, Michael Andrews (Sharon), and Beverly Thaxton (Ron), daughter-in-law Marylyn Endert, 11 grandchildren and spouses, and 23 great-grandchildren and spouses. Preceding her in death were her husband Ed, children Donna Hand and Dennis Endert, and sons-in-law Herschel Hand and Steven Straight, as well as her parents, her brother Clann Proffer (Dorothy), sisters Estel (Milford) Rhodes, Ada (Manford “Al”) Mansker, Ida Proffer and many nieces, nephews and their spouses.
