

Born January 8, 1934, in Compton, California, as Millicent Kathryne Davenport, the middle sibling of 5; having 4 brothers, 2 older twin brothers and 2 younger brothers. Moving to Oregon with the family as a young child, she was raised in eastern Oregon, spending the majority of her youth in Baker, Oregon. In 1954, she married William "Bill" Porter Zeller who went on to become an Oregon State Police trooper.
In 1964, they moved to Salem, Oregon where Bill became one of the top forensic experts in the state. Never having children, they divorced in 1970. Working at various jobs through the years, in 1992, she moved back to Yucaipa, California to help care for her aging mother, who passed away February 18, 1999. While living in Yucaipa, she worked at Big Lots, then known as Pic n Sav, C & H Liquors, Conroy's Flowers in Redlands and finally for Wal-Mart. Starting at the Redlands store in September 1999 as a door greeter and moving to the garden department, she transferred to the Beaumont store when it opened in 2006. She worked there until she retired in June of 2011, just 3 months short of her 12th year with Wal-Mart.
Millie is survived by her brother, Dale Davenport, 4 nieces and 3 nephews.
