Steven John Berganini

Steven John Berganini, age 80, passed away on Saturday, November 15th, 2025 at his home in Calimesa, California. He was born September 7th, 1945 in Virginia, Minnesota to John Berganini and Gwen Yvonne Ells.

Steve is survived by his wife Beverly, his brother Britt and brothers-in-law Don and Tom, his children Stefanie, Emily, Lisa, and Erin and stepchildren and in-laws George/Chiana and Ray/Tammie, his grandchildren Jessica, Morgan, Taylor, Andy/Emily, Tyler, Crystal, Nicole, Jorden, Devin, and Ambrossia, and his great grandchildren Ayla, Jackson, Allison, and Olivia.

We will remember Steve as a much-loved husband, father, friend, neighbor, patriot, wine aficionado, Tolkien expert, and cheese enthusiast. He was a highly decorated Army veteran of 27 years, with honors including multiple Bronze Star and Meritorious Service awards.

Steve will be buried with full military honors at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Boulevard, Riverside, CA 92518.
