

June 12, 2025, in Yucaipa, California, just shy of his 81st birthday. A proud Navy Veteran and skilled Electrician, Tom was known for his strong work ethic, kind heart, and love for his family.
He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Janis Waltman; daughter Rhonda McElroy and son-in-law Don McElroy; daughter Lori Waltman; son Mark Waltman and daughter-in-law Karen Waltman; and grandchildren Shawn and Madison Waltman. He also leaves behind many extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
Tom was a devoted family man who cherished camping trips and quality time with loved ones. In 2011, Tom fulfilled a lifelong dream by driving the Alaska-Canada Highway, camping along the way with Janis in their trailer. The journey culminated in Homer, Alaska, where he visited family and created cherished memories.
Tom had a passion for golf, cheering on his beloved Dodgers, attending classic car shows with his 1969 Camaro and sharing stories from a life well lived.
He will be remembered for his warmth, quiet strength, and the joy he brought to those around him. His legacy lives on in the love of his family and the memories they shared.
