Bernie Jean Estes, age 82, passed away on January 16, 2017, in Yuma, AZ. She was a retired nurse and had a heart as big as Texas. She had an amazing sense of humor, loved all animals and contributed to the Humane Society of Yuma. She is survived by her sister, Barbara "Fuzzy" Lundy, two daughters, Dale Ann Barton and Jackie McSpadden and four granddaughters, Charleen Hull, Torrey Meza, Jean Gutierrez and Rubie LaFountaine. Bernie Jean was loved by all who knew her. She will be missed tremendously by her friends and family. A celebration of life is planned for a later date.
