Betty O. Howry, 82, passed away Wednesday, June 11th, 2025, in Yuma, Arizona from a long battle with Dementia. She was born in Yuma, Arizona on December 28th,1942. She graduated from Yuma High School in 1960. Betty worked at the Peanut Patch in Yuma as well as Yuma Mesa Irrigation Drainage District.
Betty loved music, family, and animals. She was delighted to watch her grandchildren grow and start families of their own. She also loved riding her lawn mower and working in the yard at her property.
Betty is survived by her daughters; Ronda Courtney, of Georgetown, Texas and Holly Howry, of Yuma, Arizona; grandchildren; Emily Crews (Troy) of Jacksonville, FL, Brad Burch of Yuma, Arizona, and Nick Whitson (Danielle) of Harker Heights, Texas, Regan Romero (Ray) of Ontario, CA and Riley Whitson of Georgetown, Texas; great-grandchildren; Lianna & Jackson Crews, and Raymond Romero. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Robert M. Howry; father, Paul M. Blassingame & mother, Mary N. Blassingame; and one sister, Pauline Creek.
A visitation will be held at Johnson Mortuary on Saturday, June 21st, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. with graveside services to follow. Final resting place will be at Desert Lawn Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Brad Burch, Nick Whitson, Matt Diamond, Troy Crews, Casey Berner, Easton Benedict, and Connor and Colin Mullally.
