A life-long resident of Yuma, he was a Veteran and worked in produce for 42 years. He enjoyed playing golf and had a passion for classic cars. Being a member of the Vintage Cruisers Car Club, Bobby participated in fund-raisers and being best known for playing Santa Claus for the kids.
Bobby is survived by his loving family: wife, Linda Ray; daughters, Amber Ray, Ashley Ray, Bobby Jo (Adam) Daily, Wendy (Mike) McKenna, and Lori (Tim) Hopps: son, Bryan (Liz) Karczewski; five grandchildren and two great-gandchildren; sister, Ann Estes, and Betty Frazer; many nieces and nephews.
Bobby was preceded in death by his mother and father, Orean and Mattie Ray.
Viewing will be held at Johnson Mortuary on Thursday, July 15, 2010 from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. Military Honors will be at 10:00 A.M. Friday, July 16, 2010 at Johnson Mortuary. A Celebration of Life service will follow at The First Christian Church located at 3261 S. Avenue 6E at11:00 A.M.
