Bud Hollis

Virgle "Bud" Hollis, age 87, of Yuma, Arizona passed into eternal life on November 11, 2020.

Bud was born July 18, 1933 in Oklahoma and married the love of his life Twyla June Gann. They were married for 68 1/2 years. He worked cattle with his father and worked in farming.

Bud loved to build things - he worked in, and retired from construction work after 42 years.

He is survived by his wife June, his brother Troy Hollis (Debbie), daughters: Twilla Buckley, Debbie Brown (Kenny), Trish Lee (Brooks), and son Richard (Jeanne). He spent a lot of time with his family...his children fondly remember waterskiing and exploring the great outdoors with him. He and June are proud of their 12 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

Bud was preceded in death by his parents Fred Hollis and Audie Hollis Bell, 2 sisters Leota and Doriscella, 1 brother Floyd, and 1 great grandson Keith Brown Jr.

He loved raising fruit trees, flowers and gardens. He also loved to go out on the boat and fish.

I remember him. My dad(Everett hollis) was close with him. Bud looked like his dad. Uncle Fred would visit with us when they came to okla. Condolences to all the family.

Uncle Bud was a true gentleman and a can do and did , from the (OLD SCHOOL) Man. He was very gentle and loving with everybody. If you needed to know about something, he was the one to talk . He always welcomed you with a smile.
