We enjoyed Charles at the 15th Avenue Barbershop. Almost every time we saw each other Charles would ask me a question as a member of the Yuma City Council. I'd patiently answer it, treating it as a teachable moment.
I know Mr. James Williams misses Charles deeply. We all do.

I’ve known Charles since 2006 when he worked for the Yuma WORC Center. He was such a hard worker and cared for all of those around him. I can still hear his laughter fill the room! He was always ready for each day and enjoyed telling jokes to share his happiness with those around him. He is missed beyond words. Hugs to all who knew and loved him like I did. 💛

There are really no words that adequately express my sorrow - I pray you find that peace that passes all understanding. The energy Charles lost in his death is alive in the hearts of so many - and I will always smile when I think of him and forever hold him in the light.
