Charles Miranda It is with great sorrow that the daughters of Charles Miranda report his passing. Charlie, 62, born in Yuma, Arizona, died peacefully at home on Sunday, March 20, 2016. Private services will be held.

Charlie Miranda, 62, passed away on Palm Sunday, March 20, 2016. He was born July 31, 1953 in Yuma, AZ to the late John Miranda, Sr. and Irene Jaime (Miranda). Charlie was a well-known meat cutter at Albertson's in Yuma for over 25 years. He treasured the heartfelt company of family and longtime friends. We will remember his funny stories and the way he was always willing to lend a helping hand. Indeed a man of patience, tolerance and forgiveness.

A warmhearted man.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a beloved grandmother, Juana Moreno, whom he cared for for many years. He leaves to cherish his memory, his siblings, John Miranda, Jr., Edward Miranda, Rachel Riojas, Maria (Picho) Miranda, and Bertha Miranda. Charlie was a loving father to his daughters, Kimberly Miranda and Shelley Miranda.

A Catholic Memorial mass will be held on Monday, March 28, 2016 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Francis Assisi Church 1815 S 8th Ave, Yuma. Reception will follow at the American Legion 2575 S. Virginia Drive, Yuma.
