Charlie Dale Tillery

Charlie Dale Tillery, age 71, of Yuma, Arizona passed away on Saturday, December 19, 2020. Charlie Dale Tillery was born March 2, 1949 in Yuma AZ to Charlie and Nelda Rather (Tillery), (Harris). Charlie, known by most as Dale, a lifelong resident of Yuma, and a graduate of Kofa High School, Class of 1967.

Graveside funeral services will be held on Wednesday, 6 January 2021 at 11:00 o'clock AM at Desert Lawn Memorial Park in Yuma, AZ.

Dale is survived by his sister, Sheila Beshears (Tillery); 2 children, Deanna Foley (Tillery) and Matthew Tillery; 6 grand children: Samantha Foley, Joshua Foley, Nicholas Foley; David Tillery, Amy Billings

(Tillery), Crista Tillery; and 2 great grandchildren Grayson Crumbliss and Jaxon Billings. Dale is also survived by his former spouse of 34 years, Sue Tillery (Grissom); and niece, Christina Phillips (Beshears). He is preceded in death by his mother and father, and his beloved canine companion, Tibbs.

Dale was actively involved in 4-H as a leader and parent for over 20 years. He was a retired Agriculture inspector for the State of Arizona, serving 34 years and devoted to his work. He was an outgoing man - always having a story to tell. He had a kind and generous heart, especially when his family needed something. He loved watching baseball and going to the casino.
