Claude Martin Waller

Born June 4, 1939, in Thomaston, Georgia to William and Vivian Waller, he was a real estate broker and a Veteran of the US Army.

Claude was married for 59 years to his high school sweetheart, Mary Beach. They moved to Yuma, Arizona in 1957 and had four children; Debbie, Billy, Andy and Linda.

Claude was a real estate broker with ERA Matt Fischer Realty for 36 years. He was very active in the community as a member of the Yuma Rotary Club where he served as the Club's President and worked countless hours on committees and fund raising activities. He was proud to say that he had perfect attendance for 39 years. Claude served for several years on the Municipal Property Corporation Committee for the City of Yuma. Claude was a huge supporter of education and served on the Yuma Rotary Club's Scholarship committees.

Claude is survived by his best friend and wife, Mary, of 59 years; daughter, Debbie (Ray) Face; son, Andrew (Monica) Waller; sisters-in-law, Betty Reed and Barbara Rogers; grandchildren, Michael (Stephanie) Face, Jonathan Face, Kiley Face, Elizabeth Waller; great granddaughter, Eleanor Face and numerous nieces and nephews.

Claude was preceded in death by his parents, William and Vivian Waller; brothers, William and Bubber Waller; father and mother-in-law; Gordon and Grace Beach; daughter, Linda and son, William Waller.

Services will be held on Friday, June 24, 2016 at 11am at Christ Lutheran Church on Engler Avenue. Claude's request is that ties are not required!
