Daniel L. Grim (a.k.a. Dan or Danny), 67, passed away at his home in Phoenix, AZ (formerly of Yuma) on Thursday, January 22, 2015 after battling a long illness. Daniel was in the Air Force from 1970 to 1974 and was honorably discharged in 1974. He then moved to Yuma and started working at the Post Office as a mail carrier for 30 years until his retirement. Dan attended the Harvest Community Church in Phoenix when able. He loved to challenge himself with bicycle rides of 50 miles or more back home. Dan loved running, camping, traveling, and singing. Dan never met a person he did not consider a friend.
Dan leaves behind the love of his life of 25 years, Wanda Grim; many friends and family.
Memorial Services will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at Johnson Mortuary Chapel, 1415 S. 1st Ave., Yuma AZ. Burial will be held at a later time. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions and cards can be sent to the Johnson Mortuary in care of Charles.
