He was proud of his military service as a United States Marine, and retired after 20 years with the Corps. He served two tours of duty in Vietnam.
David is survived by his wife Phyllis of 58 years. He is also survived by his daughter, Pamala; granddaughters Samantha (Corey Seward), Julia (Bryan Osborne); great-grandsons David, Jonathan, Isaiah, Mikel, Dean and Brayden; and great-granddaughter Tara Lynn.
David was a hero to his family and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
A graveside inurnment of David's cremated remains will be held at Desert Lawn Memorial Park, Yuma, AZ on Friday, January 8th, 2021 at 11:0 a.m. with military honors.
