

David was born July 14, 1944 in Phoenix and passed April 18, 2012 in Yuma.
David was preceded in death by his parents, Louise Ruby & Franklin Sheppard Willets and a brother, Raymond. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Linda; daughter, Robyn (Scot) Jackson; granddaughter, Morgan; brother, Jerry (Susie) Willets; sister, Bunnie (Tim) Freegard; brothers-in-law, Gary (Shirlene) Goodman and James (Donna) Goodman; sisters-in-law, Connie (David) Weller and DeAnn Willets, plus many nieces and nephews.
David was a graduate of Central High in Phoenix and attended Phoenix College. During his 40 years in Yuma, he owned Kachina Electric, Accent Tent Rentals, and was a member of the Yuma Fine Arts Association, Yuma Camera Club, and the former Yuma Trade Club. David was currently employed at the MCAS by the Dept. of the Navy as an Electrical Engineer and was the current Yuma County Fair Asst. Superintendent of Photography. During his lifetime David enjoyed hunting, flying, hot air balloons, and photography.
A celebration of his life will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 4200 W. 18th Street on Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at 10:00 A.M.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Heart Association .
