Derri Ann Bizek-Gross

Derri was born March 23, 1958, in Prince George Cheverly Hills, Maryland to Jermon Theodore Davis & Ethal Mae Batchelor who proceeded her in death.

Derri was a devoted Daughter, Beloved Sister, Doting Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, loving Aunt, Dearly Loved Mother and Adored Wife. Derri, or best known by “Dee”, spent years as a consummate professional Beautician and Tax Preparer.

She is survived by her Husband Floyd James Gross of Yuma, AZ. Her Son David Bizek and his wife Kimberly Bizek of Yuma AZ. Her Daughter Angela Cray (ne’e Bizek) and her Husband Scott Cray of Michigan. Her brothers Ron Davis of Payson, AZ, Ted Davis of Baker, OR. and Sister Shelba Fenimore of Fredericksburg, TX.

Her Grandchildren Domonic and his wife Katie Bizek of Wellton, AZ. Arizona, Hunter, and Fisher Cray of Michigan. Her Great Grandchildren Wyatt Jennings Bizek of Washington, Helen Paige (Smurf) Bizek and Mason Allen Bizek of Wellton, AZ.

Her Nieces and Nephews and their children.

The loss has been deeply profound, but we know she is in God’s hands with her loved ones smiling down on everyone from Heaven. Her love for God was unwavering when she talked about her faith. Her smile could light up a room. Family and friends were her life and reason for being. She had a passion for cooking, travel, reading, music, and dancing.

The Celebration for Life will be held on June 16, 2023, at 1:30 pm at the Vertical Church Youth Center in Yuma, AZ. Wake to follow at the family’s home.
