Our mother, sister, aunt, and sister in Christ, Ernestine Sue Frey, 88, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, December 18, 2021, in Phoenix, AZ. Sue was born in Crawfordsville, IN on June 20, 1933 to Charles B. Fry and Georga Vivian Everette Fry.
Sue loved attending her church, Faith Baptist Church, and listening to the choir sing. She loved reading, doing crossword puzzles and listening to music. She also loved visiting with her family and friends. She will be missed by many.
Sue is survived by her baby sister, Sandy Turner, of Crawfordsville, IN, son Charles (Donna) Frey of Yuma, AZ, daughter Amy Chapman of Yuma, AZ, 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, and nieces and nephews.
We would like to thank all the amazing care-givers at Paradise Cove, for all the loving care, support, and patience they gave to Sue.
A church service, in her honor, will be held on Friday, January 14, 2022, at 9am, at Faith Baptist Church, 1535 S 8th Ave, Yuma, AZ 85364. Burial service will follow at 11am at Desert Lawn Memorial Park, 1415 S 1st Ave, Yuma, AZ 85364.
