Ernesto Silva, 92 years old, passed away peacefully on August 7, 2024, and is now resting in paradise. He was born in Nacori, Sonora, Mexico on February 25, 1932, then raised in Sahuaripa, Mexico. He married Juanita Silva on December 16, 1956. My dad and mom were married for 62 years. They migrated to Riverside, California in 1961. He worked in agriculture for over 40 years and formed many lasting relationships.
He was a very loving and devoted family man. He cherished spending time with all his loved ones and had many friends. He was a man of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. He is survived by his sons Frank Silva, Guadalupe Silva and daughters Elsa Rojo and Delia Silva. Ernesto is a proud grandfather to 14 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Also, a wonderful father-in-law to Aglay Silva, Olivia Silva, and Frank Rojo.
Ernesto’s life is a testament of the power of kindness plus the strength of familial bonds. He will be dearly missed and always remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He will be in our heart forever. We love you dad, and you will always be with us. Rest in paradise.
