Esteyan Medel

Esteyan Medel has faithfully departed this world to enter into the next. He physically left on Wednesday, January 1, 2025, but will remain in our hearts and minds forever. He was born on February 28, 2003, at Yuma Regional Medical Center in Yuma, Arizona.

Esteyan lived a life that had gained the love of family and friends and the knowledge to experience the things he loved to do. He was the light of life to the many who knew him. His presence will forever be felt by the ones he came across. He is truly the son, brother, nephew, cousin and friend that will never be forgotten.

Memories will be carried by his father, Steve; mother, Theresa; biological mother, Brenda; sisters, Esmia, Miracle, Lyrra, Lovly; brothers, Zimri, Trino, Uzziel; stepbrothers, Jorge, Rosel and Bk; great-grandmother Amalia Gonzalez; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather Steve Medel.

Esteyan's viewing will be held on Thursday, January 23, 2025 at Johnson Mortuary from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, and the Rosary will be at 7:00 pm. Mass will be at Immaculate Conception Church on Friday, January 24, 2025 at 11:00 am, followed by the Funeral Services at 1:00 pm at Johnson Mortuary.
