Faye Carter, of Somerton, aged 73, died June 3rd 2012 in Yuma, Arizona. Mrs. Carter was born May 14th 1939 in Batesville, Arkansas, the daughter of Oliver and Margaret Chrisco. She grew up in Somerton where she remained for the majority of her life in the employ of the Somerton Carlisle School District. She was a graduate of NAU (‘90), holding a Bachelor’s of Arts in Education. Mrs. Carter is survived by her husband of 55 years, Kenneth Carter, two sons, Chris (Lisa) and Sean (Sarah), a grandson Ryan and her brother, Larry Chrisco (Lannie).
Services to be held at Johnson Mortuary at 1:00 pm the 9th of June, 2012 with reception to follow till 4:00 pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be given to the Alzheimer’s Association Tucson Chapter at www.alz.org
