Florentina Lopez Hogan, born on June 20, 1939, in Acaponeta, Nayarit, Mexico, passed away on May 2, 2025, at the age of 85. A resident of Yuma, Arizona, Florentina was a beloved member of her community and family.
Florentina's career included work at Biltmore, Yuma Proving Grounds, and Olsens Market. Her dedication and hard work were evident in all her professional endeavors.
In 1973, Florentina met and married Daniel W. Hogan, with whom she shared a loving marriage until his passing. She is survived by her daughter, Maria Cristina Romero, and her husband, John G. Romero. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Marissa Cristina Romero-Mckee and her husband, Ryan J. Mckee, and John Gabriel Romero Jr., as well as her great-grandson, Fin Ian Mckee. Florentina is also survived by her granddaughter-in-law, Airam G. Ortiz Bernett, and her sister, Vicki L. Martinez.
Florentina had a passion for crocheting and needle point/embroidery, hobbies that brought her joy and relaxation throughout her life.
Florentina will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her memory will be cherished by her family and friends.
