Fred Simon Medina, 83 of Somerton, AZ, passed away on Tuesday, October 22nd, 2024. “Simon” Medina, son of Mercedes Lopez and Pablo Medina, loving husband of Rosie O. Medina, passed away in Tacoma, Washington.
He is survived by his wife Rosie, two daughters Amanda and Avelina (Abby) and son Freddy. He is preceded in death by his daughter Lillian Medina†
He is also survived by six grandchildren (Isaac, Julian, Matthew, Lillian, Addy, and Jenny) and five great-grandchildren (Jadah, Ariah, Avah, Noah and Destiny).
Fred worked at Sunkist Verde Grower Co. until his retirement. He served as an altar boy in his younger years. He enjoyed camping and gathering with family and friends. He was a kind, gentle, loving and witty man. He has left behind a long legacy of a strong, loving and united family. He will be greatly missed.
Pallbearers are Freddy Medina Jr., Francisco Blanco Sr., Jose Luis Perez, Isaac Rodriguez, Julian Rodriguez and Matthew Perez.
