Genette Lou "Gene" Fry, aged 82, passed away on August 1, 2024, in Yuma, Arizona. Born on December 25, 1941, Gene was known for her magnetic personality and her zest for life, making a lasting impression on everyone she met.
Gene is survived by her loving children, son Chris Fry, his wife Tiffany and daughter Athena Godwin and her husband Scooter. She was a cherished grandmother to Charles Fry, Bretta Straub, and Erik Fry; Stacie Hesterburg and Andy Skitka; Jon and Chad Ellis; Cori Noriega, Brittany Dunham and Brianna Oliver. Joshua Schrader-Wentz, Destiny Helmstadter, Amber Tanaka and Kasey Williams.
Those who knew Gene will remember her as a likable and lovable individual, a true friend who knew how to live life to the fullest. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
