Geneva Maxine Stewart, 70, left to join the Lord, March 28th, 2011. Geneva was a courageous adventurer. In a moment she could relocate to a new city, find a new job, make new friends and whip up a new wardrobe on her sewing machine; all the while, single handedly, raising four children. She was a modern woman, who set a professional example for women of her day and will be dearly missed.
Geneva is survived by her sister Jean Veretto, brother, Walter Spencer, daughters Terri Gifford of Houston, Texas, Tina Mitchell, Tammy Mitchell, grandchildren, Brent, Sebrea, Megan, Josh, Shantel, Jenny, and eight great-grandchildren.
Geneva was preceded in death by her parents Willis and Lois Spencer, brother, Jim Spencer and her son Gary Mitchell.
