He is preceded in death by the love of his life, Lupe G. Arvizo. George and Lupe were blessed with 57 years of marriage.

He is survived by his daughter Theresa Garcia (Sam) of Yuma; son George Arvizo (Cecilia) of Yuma; daughter Melissa Arvizo-Fairbrother (Michael) of Glendale, AZ. He had eight grandchildren, Ashley, Erick, Briana, Alyssa, George Jr., Michael, Joseph and Victoria; and three great grandchildren Samuel, Kaleb and James.

George served in the U.S. Army. He then attended Arizona State University where he majored in agricultural studies. He worked as an entomologist for the University of Arizona and Glenn Curtis Company for over 40 years. He served his community alongside his wife Lupe; 4-H, Somerton Little League; Somerton Youth Group and Somerton City Council. He will be remembered for all the lives he touched coaching baseball.
