

Grady Frank Winkler, 87, passed away on Monday, August 26, 2013 at home with his wife Evelyn in Yuma Arizona. Grady was born November 4, 1925 in Wilmot, Arkansas.
Grady was a World War II Veteran in the United States Navy. He worked in the furniture business in California before moving to Yuma. In Yuma he owned and managed Karen's Bar for 21 years.
He enjoyed fishing and hunting trips with Harold and Robert Anderson as well as his vegetable garden. He loved visiting with his grand children and he loved his cat Buzzy.
Grady is survived by his wife, Evelyn; son, Grady Frank Winkler, Jr.; daughter, Linda Heckman; step daughter, Sandra Montague; Sons-in-law, Mickey Heckman and George Montague; daughter-in-law, Dolores Winkler and sister, Florence Millard. Also 10 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father, Frank Winkler; mother, Lucy Winkler; step son, Donald Condon; four brothers and one sister.
Memorial Service will be at Johnson Mortuary, 1415 S. First Avenue, Yuma, Arizona on Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at 10:00 am. Burial will be at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
