Howard Wilson Griffiths, age 89, passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2012, at his Yuma, AZ, home. He was born January 24, 1923, in Chicago, IL, to Archibald and Nellie (Wilson) Griffiths.
He retired as Dean and Professor Emeritus from State University of New York at Morrisville, NY.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn; daughters, Charmaine Flynn (Michael) and "The Gang II" of Lewis, NY, and Kalua A. Griffiths of Downingtown, PA; sister, Ruth A. Garner of Burkesville, KY; sister-in-law, Jane A. Vogt of Yuma, AZ.
Private cremation is being handled by Johnson Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice Compassus of Yuma, AZ.
