He just celebrated his 85 birthday Aug 7. 2018. We were high school sweethearts. We got married shortly after Jack graduated in 1953.
Jack was a mechanic and foremost a 4x4 wheel drive Mechanic, expert in the Yuma Area.
and he held a doctor of motor Certificate from Perfect circle Corp Issued in 1956.
We owned and operated Precision Automotive Machine (PAM) with our Son David.
Jack really enjoyed target shooting, he was a international pistol champion
with many trophies and awards. One Sunday afternoon he came home a sat in his jeep
watching his young children and realized his children were growing up with out him.
Because he was out practicing , and never at home, at that time he realized, it was time
to put away his passion and focus on his family. He came into the house and handed me his
trophies, he had won that day and said "I'm not going back", (and he didn't go back).
He loved hunting and camping, but from that day on, it was a family affair.
We had some wonderful times camping and hunting with family and friends. He also loved taking the family to El Golfo camping and always had a wonderful time.
Jack loved his country and was involved in the Republican party for many years and
Jack was responsible for getting the first presidential candidate to Yuma, Pat Buchanan in 1996,
which was a highlight of his life.
He was involved in several Churches in the Yuma area, and was a deacon on 3 different Boards
Also served on the board of the Lower lights rescue mission, many years ago.
The door to our home was always open, many young Marines and families were always welcome into our home as it was covered with the blood of Jesus.
Jack was a very wise and loving man to his family and friends and will be sorely missed.
