I couldn't believe it when I first read about John passing. He was way too young to leave us for heaven this soon. Heaven has gained a good one, and we have had to say good bye too soon. To my high school friend I wish you peace my good man. And to the family, my sincere condolences in this unfortunate time. Artie and Mark be strong, your family needs you and John would want every one to live life to it's fullest. I will miss you my childhood friend, and RIP, until we meet again.

My heart hurts. Heavy, but full of great memories Uncle John! You were the best husband to my Aunt Lydia & more than a great father to Ash & John Layton! Your patience was your virtue for sure! Always with a smile, I’ll never forget those great times we all had out at The Wash! Thanks for teaching me how to ride the jet ski...until we do meet again, we are down here missing you! Much love, you will never be forgetter! Love, Dee
