Jean was born in 1931 to Carrie C. Smalley in Lawton, Oklahoma. She married Omer Lee Casey in Yuma, Arizona in 1949. Jean was the co-owner and bookkeeper for the custom harvesting business, Casey & Sons, Inc for nearly 50 years.
Jean was the matriarch of the Casey family. She was extremely proud of the family she raised as she watched them blossom over the years. Her presence and support were steadfast and all knew she was a woman of her word. She will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege to know her.
Survivors include: sons, Larry (Sue), of Brawley, California, Calvin (Debra), of Florida, Gordon (Annette) of Somerton, and Anna McInturf daughter-in-law of Yuma, Grandchildren; Leigh Ann (Jarrett) Howell, Meagan (Jacob) Thomas, Julie Carr, Melissa Talbert, Bryan (Lisa) Casey, Daniel (Nichole) Casey, Kathleen (Mike) Embree, and Jacob (Jessica) Casey, Great-grandchildren; Caleigh and Annalee Howell, Wyatt and Colton Thomas, Van and Jameson Talbert, Ethan Rieb, Lauren and Janie Embree, Reese and Grant Casey.
Jean was preceded in death by her husband Omer Lee Casey and mother Carrie C. Smalley.
Services will be held Saturday, February 6th, 2020 at Johnsons Mortuary. Viewing at 8:00 am, graveside at 9:00 am and celebration of life to follow at THE SHOP.
