Karen Hill, of Yuma, passed away on August 18, 2026. Born on November 27, 1947, to Virgie and Earl Crane, Karen was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Ronald Crane; and her son, Reg Hill.
She is survived by her daughters, Kim Hill-Olsen (Barry Olsen) and Dodi Toms (Chris Toms); and her beloved grandchildren, Jake Hill, Tabi Toms-Mrofka (Taylor Mrofka), Madi Toms, Brielle Olsen, Abbi Olsen, and Claire Olsen.
Karen was the longtime owner of The Packrats Den, Yuma’s antique and collectible store, which she founded in 1989 and operated with her best friend, Sallie Faloon. She also proudly served two terms on the Yuma City Council.
Karen especially cherished spending time with her grandchildren, cheering them on at their sporting events, fair activities and dance recitals and creating treasured memories together. She will be remembered for her devotion to her family, her love of antiques, her service to the Yuma community, and her lifelong compassion for animals.
