

She was a traditional bird and jingle dress dancer. She was also an accomplished seamstress. She was a wonderful person and would help anyone in need. She had a strong spirit and will be in our hearts and memories forever.
Leatrice is survived by her daughter, Alora Irene Dugan; father, John Tourtillott; mother, Deborah Tourtillott; brothers, Matthew and Nolan Tourtillott; grandmother, Nancy Montague Sr.; grandmother, Rosemary Tourtillott; uncles, Milson H. Jose, Joseph R. Jose, Monte Montague, Wayne (Louie) Tourtillott, Maynard Tourtillott, Lee Tourtillott, David Tourtillott; aunts, Leona Jose Marquez, Nancy D. Montague Jr., Densil Montague and Sadie Kellan; great uncles, Douglas Osborne, Norman Osborne and Gordon Osborne; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Burton Dugan; uncle, Delmar L. Jose Jr., paternal grandfather, Wayne Tourtillott; maternal grandfather Delmar L. Jose Sr., maternal great-grandparents, Joseph Benedict and Mary Osborne.
Visitation will be held at Funeraria del Angel on April 26, 2013 from 5PM to 10PM with rosary at 7PM. Mass will be held at St. Thomas Indian Mission on Saturday, April 27, 2013 at 10AM with traditional tribal ceremony to follow at the Quechan Big House.
Pallbearers will be John Tourtillott, Matthew Tourtillott, Nolan Tourtillott, Ramiro Marquez Jr., Joseph R. Jose, Monte Montague, River Montague, Kody Jose, Travis Owl Jr. and Milson Jose Jr.
