Mr. Luis Gastelum passed away on July 15, 2012 at his Yuma home. Born on August 25, 1925 in Dixieland, California, he had worked as a night watchman for a citrus packing company. He was survived by his daughter, Anita Phillips of Yuma; sons, Daniel Gastelum, Salvador Gastelum, David Gastelum, Johnny Gastelum, and Jimmy Gastelum. Also survived by daughter Margarita Gastelum and 22 grandchilren and 21 great-grandchildren. Interment was in Desert Lawn Memorial Park on July 27, 2012 with local arrangements handled by Johnson Mortuary.
