Luis Montejano, 67, peacefully passed away and joined his father, mother, and granddaughter in heaven on August 6, 2016 after a valiant battle with cancer. Born in Ecuandureo, Michoacan, Mexico, Luis moved to the United States with his family and was a resident of Somerton, AZ for 25 years. He worked as a laborer for many years until becoming disabled. Luis was blessed with a large and loving family. He married his life companion, Herminia, on July 2, 1973 and together they raised 5 children with love, patience and humility. Although he loved his wife and children very much, his heart belonged to his grandchildren who he helped care for and who dearly called him "Tati". He will always be lovingly remembered by his wife, Herminia Montejano; his son, Juan Montejano; his daughters, Maria Patch (Chris), Brenda Montejano, Ariana Montejano, and Alyssa Montejano; and his 8 grandchildren. Blessed are those who knew his kind, humble, gentle and loving soul.
